Frequently asked questions
Is PayoutPartner a bot that trades for me?
No. PayoutPartner never places, modifies, or cancels an order. It reads your chart and account and checks your trades against the rules you set. On a paid licence it warns you live, but it never trades for you and it never stops an order — you place every order yourself.
Does it give trading advice?
No. It never suggests a trade and it is not financial advice. It only checks your plan against your own rules and tells you GO or NO-GO before you enter.
Where is my data stored?
Your rules, trades, journal and session logs stay on your PC. What leaves your PC is limited: a licence check (your key and an anonymous install ID), and — in beta — the context the AI coach needs to answer. Your broker credentials are never read or stored. See the privacy policy for the exact list.
Which prop-firm rules can it guard?
PayoutPartner guards the limits you enter — daily loss limit, drawdown threshold, maximum size, trades per day, cooldown, and trading sessions. Enter the limits your firm sets. See the prop-firm limits note.
What if TradingView changes?
The local connection can break when TradingView changes its app. If it does, PayoutPartner may need an update, and a warning can fail. Keep your broker's own risk limits switched on, and never rely on PayoutPartner as your only protection with real money.
