PayoutPartner — User Guide
PayoutPartner sits beside your TradingView chart and checks every trade against your own rules. It tells you GO or NO-GO before you enter, watches your position and your day while you trade, and — on a paid licence — warns or blocks when you are about to break a rule you set yourself.
- What it is not. It never suggests a trade and it is not financial advice. It only checks
- your plan against your rules. Trading futures carries a substantial risk of loss; you are
responsible for every order placed from your account.
1. What you need
| Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|
| Windows 10 or 11 | Windows only for now |
| TradingView Desktop (the downloadable app) | Mandatory. PayoutPartner reads your chart through the desktop app. The TradingView website in a browser tab does not work. Install it from tradingview.com and sign in. |
| A broker connected inside TradingView | Connect it in TradingView's own Trading Panel. PayoutPartner reads your account from there; it never asks for your broker password. |
| A PayoutPartner licence key | See section 2 |
| Internet connection | For the licence check and (in beta) the AI coach |
2. Plans and licence
| Monthly | Lifetime (one-time) | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | ₹999 or $9.99 per month, buy as many months as you want | ₹9,999 or $99 once |
| Every feature, including enforcement | Yes | Yes |
| AI coach ("Jessi") | Included during beta | Included during beta; afterwards you connect your own AI key (section 8) |
| Updates | While your licence is active | [Decide: updates for a fixed period, or for life] |
- How monthly works. You choose how many months to buy at checkout (1, 3, 12 — any number).
Months are prepaid and stack: if you buy 3 months and later buy 2 more, you have 5 months counted from your first start date. Buying more never wastes remaining time; it is added to the end of your current expiry date. [Confirm: there is no automatic renewal — you are never charged again unless you choose to buy more.]
- When time runs out. Nothing is deleted. PayoutPartner drops to Free mode: you still get the
GO / NO-GO verdict, the rules checklist, your session log and your discipline score, but it is
- advisory only — it will show NO-GO and will not block or interrupt. Your data stays on your
PC. Add months and enforcement comes back immediately.
- Where to buy / add months: [https://www.payoutpartner.co/pricing] → choose Monthly or Lifetime →
check out → your key arrives by email and appears on your account page.
3. Install
- Download the installer from [https://www.payoutpartner.co/download]. The file is called
[PayoutPartner-Setup.exe] and is code-signed; Windows should show the publisher name [Your Company]. If Windows SmartScreen warns you on a new release, choose
- More info → Run anyway.
- Run it and accept the defaults. You do not need to install Node.js or anything else —
everything is bundled.
- The installer creates a "PayoutPartner" shortcut on your Desktop and in the Start menu,
plus a "Stop PayoutPartner" shortcut in the Start menu.
- The PayoutPartner shortcut is how you start TradingView from now on (see section 4).
4. The one rule that matters: start TradingView through PayoutPartner
PayoutPartner talks to TradingView Desktop through a local connection that only exists when TradingView was started in a special mode. The PayoutPartner shortcut starts TradingView in that mode for you.
✅ Start TradingView with the PayoutPartner shortcut.
❌ Do not open TradingView from the Start menu, taskbar, or a desktop icon — PayoutPartner will
show "disconnected" and nothing will work.
What the shortcut does, in order:
- First time only: opens the rules page (section 5) and waits until you save.
- TradingView:
- already open and started the right way → left alone and reused;
- not open → started for you in the right mode;
- open the wrong way (from the Start menu or taskbar) → it asks you first before closing
it. Save your chart layout, then answer Y. Unsaved drawings or layout changes can be lost. Answer N and PayoutPartner still starts, but without a chart connection.
- Waits for TradingView to finish loading (up to 90 seconds — be patient on a slow PC).
- Starts the PayoutPartner background program (no window; it keeps running until you stop it).
- Opens a browser tab at http://localhost:7533. That tab is the app. Bookmark it.
Clicking the shortcut again while PayoutPartner is running just reopens the tab — it never starts a second copy. To shut it down, use Stop PayoutPartner in the Start menu (this does not close TradingView).
PayoutPartner runs entirely on your own PC. Nothing is installed in your browser and nothing is "hosted"; the browser tab is just its screen.
5. First run
5.1 Set your rules (opens automatically)
The first time you start PayoutPartner, a short setup page opens in your browser and asks for
- your limits. PayoutPartner ships with no opinion about what your rules should be — it
enforces whatever you enter. It asks for:
- your name, the instrument(s) you trade (for example MNQ, MGC), your prop firm (if any), your
account size and your time zone
- your firm's limits: daily loss limit, drawdown threshold, profit target
- your risk rules: maximum size per trade, trades per session and per day, the
- cooldown after a loss, maximum loss per trade
- your trading sessions (start and end times, with time zone)
PayoutPartner starts as soon as you press save. Your rules are stored in your own data folder (section 7), not in the program folder, so updates never overwrite them.
Tip: enter the limits your prop firm or your own written plan already sets. If you do not have a written plan yet, write one first; the setup page cannot do that for you.
Some limits are treated as account-fatal (daily stop, drawdown floor, size cap, trades per day, cooldown). Those can be set but cannot be switched to "warn only" — if they would be broken, PayoutPartner blocks. Whether news windows and session windows only warn you or fully block is your choice under Settings → Trading guards.
You can change any rule later under Settings. A change takes effect for the next check.
5.2 Enter your licence key
[Not built yet.] PayoutPartner asks for your key. Paste it and press Activate. It is checked once online and then remembered. You can see your expiry date any time under
- Settings → Licence.
5.3 Connect your account
Make sure your broker is connected in TradingView's Trading Panel and the account you trade is selected. PayoutPartner then reads your balance, open position and day P&L from there. The status light in the top bar shows green when it can see both the chart and the account.
6. Using it every day
- Start with the PayoutPartner shortcut (section 4).
- Check the status light. Green = chart and account visible. Anything else: section 9.
- Before the session — look at the verdict:
- GO — the mechanical conditions line up (session window and higher-timeframe alignment).
- NO-GO — at least one condition fails; the reason is shown. The verdict does not predict
the market; it tells you whether you are inside your own plan.
- While trading — PayoutPartner watches your position and your day. It will warn you, and on a
paid licence block or interrupt, when you are about to break a rule: too big a size, a loss limit reached, too many trades, trading again inside the cooldown, trading outside your session.
- After the session — review the day in the Journal and the Week review. The most
useful screens are the ones that show which rule you broke and what it cost.
- When you are done, close TradingView and use Stop PayoutPartner in the Start menu.
- Pre-session checklist. The checklist is your ritual before the first trade — tick it honestly;
the readiness score reflects what you ticked.
- Chart tools. PayoutPartner can draw session levels, news times and your last exit on your chart,
and set alerts on them. These are drawn on your own TradingView chart.
Order placement
[Beta: off by default.] PayoutPartner is built to check and block, not to trade for you. If a later version lets you confirm trades from PayoutPartner, it will always show you a ticket first, refuse anything your rules forbid, and place nothing until you confirm it yourself.
7. Your data and privacy
- Stays on your PC: your rules, trades, journal, session logs and chat history (in the
PayoutPartner data folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\PayoutPartner, normally C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\PayoutPartner). Uninstalling does not delete this folder unless you tick "remove my data". Background-program logs are in its logs subfolder.
- Leaves your PC:
- Licence check — your licence key and an anonymous install ID are sent to our server to
confirm your plan and expiry.
- AI coach (beta) — when you chat with the coach or request a verdict explanation, the
relevant context (your question, plus the rules, position and recent trades needed to answer) is sent through our server to the AI provider and the answer comes back. [State retention: what is logged, for how long, and that it is not used to train models — only if true.]
- Nothing is sent to TradingView by PayoutPartner other than the same local commands you could type
yourself; your broker credentials are never read or stored.
8. The AI coach and your own AI key
- During beta the coach works out of the box: your requests go through our server and the cost
is covered by your licence. You do nothing.
- After beta the primary way to run the coach will be your own AI key: you create an account
with an AI provider, paste the key into Settings → AI, and requests go straight from your PC to that provider; you pay the provider for what you use. [Confirm: monthly licences may keep the included-AI option; Lifetime licences use your own key.] Everything except the coach works without any AI key.
9. Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Status light red / "disconnected from TradingView" | TradingView was probably not started through PayoutPartner. Close TradingView completely, then start it again with the PayoutPartner shortcut. |
| Browser tab says "can't reach localhost" | PayoutPartner's background program is not running. Start it from the shortcut and wait for the tab to open. If port 7533 is taken by another program, close that program or see [Settings → Port]. |
| Green for chart, but account/P&L is empty | The broker is not connected inside TradingView, or the Trading Panel is closed. Connect it in TradingView's Trading Panel and select your account. |
| "Licence expired" | You are in Free (advisory) mode. Add months on your account page; it re-activates within a minute of the next check, or press Settings → Licence → Check now. |
| "Cannot check licence" while offline | A valid licence keeps working offline for up to [3] days. Reconnect to the internet to refresh it. |
| Verdict says NO-GO but you think it is wrong | Open the verdict — the failing condition is listed. If a rule is set wrong, fix it in Settings → Rules. |
| Windows or antivirus blocks the program | PayoutPartner starts a local server and a TradingView connection, which some security software questions. Allow it; see [link to FAQ]. |
| Anything else | Settings → Help → Export diagnostics creates a file with no trade data; send it to [support email]. |
10. Refunds and support
[14-day refund on first purchase — confirm.] Support: [support email]. Include your diagnostics file and the date and time (with time zone) of the problem.
11. Important notices
- PayoutPartner is a rule-checking and journaling tool. It does not give financial advice, signals or
recommendations, and past results do not predict future results.
- It enforces the limits you enter. If you enter bad limits, it will enforce bad limits.
- You need your own TradingView subscription and broker; PayoutPartner is not affiliated with or
endorsed by TradingView or any broker. [Add after legal review of TradingView's terms.]
- A block can fail (software, connection, platform changes). Never rely on PayoutPartner as your only
protection with real money — keep your broker's own risk limits switched on.
